We live in Brooklyn, so it gives me great pleasure to see my children getting up early in the morning to work in the garden or collect eggs or just wander independently - things they don't get to do at home.

Directions to Camp

We are located 6.2 miles east of Glennville on Highway 155.  The ranch borders the west side of the Sequoia National Forest.  There is a cattle guard on Highway 155, 1/4 mile east of the ranch, so if you are coming to camp from Glennville and go over the cattle guard, you have gone to far.  It is about a seventy minute drive from either Bakersfield or Delano.  The closest gasoline is in Bakersfield or Lake Isabella. It is a good idea to fill your tank before coming to the mountains.

From the South... Take Highway 99 into Bakersfield. Go north on Airport Drive and continue straight out of town.  Follow the signs to Glennville.

From the North... Take Highway 99 south to Delano.  Take Highway 155/Glennville/Alta Sierra exit and go east on Highway 155.

From the East... Take Highway 155 from Lake Isabella / Wofford Heights.  We are about 14 mile from the lake, although you will need to allow 45 minutes for the drive as the roads are curvy. We are the first ranch after you leave the National Forest on the west side of the sierras.

From the West... From Highway 46, go east over the Highway 99 overpass at Famoso and continue east past the Famoso racetrack.  After crossing Highway 65 as you come to forks in the road, go right.  This will put you on the Granite/Glennville road.
